Rachel Bilson's style, from what I've seen of it, is very eclectic, sophisticated, and put together (click image to enlarge). This outfit (FamousQT.com) shows that Rachel is not afraid to mix up colors and styles that most people wouldn't dare wear. Rachel pulls it off with ease and elegance, and I'm convinced that you can too. This look, inspired by Rachel, showcases the silhouettes of clothing that she has chosen, in colors that are a bit more wearable than Rachel's outfit.

Here's how I did it:

• Start with the bold statement of the jeans Rachel is wearing in this look. You can take any pair of vintage faded jeans and fold up the cuff rather high to recreate this style. I chose a less yellow-y wash, using Joe's Jeans medium rigid blue "Cigarette" cuffed jeans ($85.50 at Bluefly.com).
• Then, I considered the outline of Rachel's layered shirts. The important aspect here is the tie-front blouse is layered first, with the bow coming out of the vest over top. I used a Pussybow Blouse in Jade from MissSelfridge.com.
• I topped the blouse with a Twin Set Shell in Potent Purple ($12.50, from OldNavy.com), and completed the top look with a Weave Band Waist Belt in Dark Brown ($10.80) from Forever 21.
• Lastly, I added sparkly gold Guess Women's Hadrien shoes ($110 at Shoes.com) and a bright yellow wristlet, also from Forever 21.

The important thing here is to make sure you use colors that complement and play off one another. Hope this outfit helps you bring out your inner Rachel!
